A Place to be Curious…
I’m Louise, a Queer, Neurodivergent, Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer and I’m passionate about supporting other ND folk to create a life that works for them.
I share about my own experiences as a late diagnosed autistic and what I’ve learnt through my own lived experience of creating a sustainable and balanced life that nourishes me and keeps me out of burnout. As well as what I’ve learnt from my work supporting other neurodivergent folks.
(Spoiler: its all about curiosity, compassion and kindness)
If you’d like to know a bit more about me (and why my Substack is called Curiosity Spot head over to this post:
Hello!
My intention is to write fortnightly, but because I try and practice what I preach, I have given myself permission to write more if I have something to say and less when I need to rest. (Permission to change and setting intentions instead of making promises both help to soothe my demand avoidant parts.)
If you’d like to find out more about my work as a therapist, supervisor and trainer you can head over to my website. You’ll also find previous blog post from before I joined Substack on there.
If you’d like to be notified of other upcoming training and events I’m running then you can sign up to my newsletter. As a bonus you’ll also be able to download my free resources which explains 14 key terms that come up when we talk about neurodivergence because language is important, but tricky.
